How to use

  1. Pick the country or sizing system you already know — e.g. "US" if the garment was bought in US sizing.
  2. Select your size and the equivalents in every other system appear at once.
  3. Check the full chart below too — knowing the neighboring sizes helps when you're between sizes.

Frequently asked questions

Why do sizes differ so much between countries?+

Each country grades sizes differently: Korea and Japan label actual measurements (mm/cm), the US and UK use inches and their own grades, and Europe uses separate number systems. They're different names for the same body, so a chart can line them up.

What is a US women's 7 in EU sizing?+

A US women's 7 is roughly EU 37.5, UK 4.5 — a 24 cm (240 mm) foot.

How do women's sizes relate to men's?+

In US sizing, women's sizes run about 1.5 higher than men's for the same foot: a women's US 8 fits like a men's US 6.5. Metric systems (cm/mm) don't change with gender.

What if a brand's sizing doesn't match the chart?+

This chart follows the standard international correspondence, but cuts vary by brand — expect up to one size of drift. The safest check is the brand's own size chart with actual measurements in centimeters.

Unit guide

How each country sizes shoes

Korea labels the foot length in millimeters (235 = 23.5 cm) and Japan in centimeters. Europe counts in Paris points (2/3 cm), while the US and UK use their own last-based scales — which is why the numbers look unrelated.

US and UK are both inch-based but start differently, so US women's sizes run about 2.5 above UK. EU sizing can also drift half a size between brands.

How to measure your feet

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe, and measure the length. Do it in the evening (feet swell during the day) and use the larger foot.

Add 5–10 mm of room to the measured length: less for heels and flats, 10 mm or more for running shoes.
