Why do sizes differ so much between countries?+
Each country grades sizes differently: Korea and Japan label actual measurements (mm/cm), the US and UK use inches and their own grades, and Europe uses separate number systems. They're different names for the same body, so a chart can line them up.
What waist is a size 30 in centimeters?+
30 inches ≈ 76 cm (multiply inches by 2.54). That's roughly EU 46, international size M.
What does 30/32 on jeans mean?+
Waist/length in inches: a 30-inch waist with a 32-inch inseam (inside-leg length). Common on jeans worldwide.

How pants are sized around the world
Jeans and casual pants use waist inches (W28·W30…) almost everywhere, including Korea. European dress trousers use grades 44–56 (roughly waist inches + 16), and fast-fashion brands often fall back to S·M·L.
Women's pants sometimes use US 0·2·4 grades instead, which adds confusion — when in doubt, convert everything back to the actual waist in centimeters.
Measuring waist and inseam
Lay a well-fitting pair flat, measure the waistband straight across and double it for the circumference. On the body, measure level at the height you actually wear the pants (hip or waist).
The inseam runs from the crotch seam to the hem. With stretch fabrics, sizing down one inch from your measurement is common; with rigid fabrics, match it exactly.
