About EazyUnit

You are usually here for one number

Unit conversion tends to be urgent. You are mid-checkout on an overseas shop and need to know what those inches are in centimetres, or a recipe calls for cups and your jug is in millilitres, or a listing is in square metres and you think in square feet. One number, right now.

EazyUnit calculates as you type. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is no wait, and the values you enter go nowhere. There are no files and no accounts, which means there is nothing about you for us to know in the first place.

Why every page carries a table

It is rarely 'exactly how many inches is 17.3cm'. Usually you want a rough sense of the scale and a look at the nearby values too. So every conversion page includes a table of the values people actually look up.

The table is part of the page itself rather than something the calculator produces, so it is there without JavaScript, and it shows up in search result previews. Reading the answer off a table is often faster than typing into a box.

Where the numbers come from

The factors behind length and weight conversions are internationally agreed definitions, not convenient roundings. An inch is exactly 2.54cm, a pound is exactly 0.45359237kg, a mile is exactly 1609.344m. The Korean pyeong is handled as exactly 400/121 square metres rather than the usual 3.3058 approximation.

Data sizes use 1KB = 1024 bytes — how your operating system reports storage, rather than how drive manufacturers label it. Calories are thermochemical (4.184J). Rounding happens only for display; the arithmetic always runs at full precision.

Frequently asked questions

Are the values I type sent anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated inside the browser and nothing is transmitted. There is no file upload feature at all, and no account to create.
Your pyeong figures differ slightly from other sites.
Many sites round a pyeong to 3.3058 square metres. This one uses the exact definition, 400/121 (about 3.305785…). The gap becomes visible over larger areas.
Your GB and MB figures do not match my drive's label.
Drive manufacturers count a GB as a billion bytes; operating systems calculate in units of 1024 and display that. These converters follow the 1024 convention so the numbers match what you see on screen.
Are the clothing and shoe size charts this precise?
No. Sizes are not units — every brand sets its own — so those charts are guidance rather than conversion. They show the usual correspondence between Korean, Japanese and European labelling; check the brand's own measurements before buying.
